“First of all, let me say the owner was gracious and communication was excellent. We did not have a good experience with the property but did with the owner. The house is decorated cute with a pumpkin on the porch & on the back porch table and snacks & drinks. There is a cute bar on the back porch, but unfortunately the entire porch area was filthy. “I am a nature lover and explorer, so we came to hike trails along the blue ridge. It was the most gorgeous place to return to after our day was done. Nothing but private woodlands around you, as you sit on the back deck for the morning and evening hours when you aren't out and about! It makes a difference when you come back to a place that feels like home. Those places that are listed as "gems"....this is truly one of them!
